Hyderabad,Telangana: A case was booked on AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday(25-6-2015) night. The case was filed on Chief Minister and 5 Cabinet members. Going into the details, A lawyer named M. Phanindra Bhargav, had approached Ranga Reddy district court seeking direction to police to book a case against the AP CM and others.
The case was filed for making threatening and provocative statements against Telangana government. The case was filed at L.B. Nagar police station under the limits of Cyberabad police commissionerate.
Case booked on AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu in Telangana
Under various sections of Indian Penal Code the case was booked which includes to sedition, criminal conspiracy, intimidation, promoting hatred and other charges. The two main points under which the case was filed are as below.
- The petitioner pointed out that Mr. Naidu threatened during an interview that it would be last day of Telangana’s TRS government if he was arrested in cash-for-vote case.
- He also claimed that “Naidu and other ministers made statement provoking people of Andhra Pradesh against Telangana.”
Telangana police said that they would submit a report to the court after investigation.
Is AP CM involved in Note-for-vote scam?
It is said that Mr. Naidu was involved in Note-for-vote scam of Revanth Reddy based on the audio tape released to media on 8-6-2015 in which Naidu was talking to Stephenson. TDP MLA A. Revanth Reddy was arrested by ACB under Note-for-Vote scam who was trying to bribe Telangana’s nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson. The video footage was released to channels on 31-5-2015. Revanth reddy was given 24 hour bail to attend his daughter’s engagement on 11th June, 215.
